How to Determine if a Bracket Needs Replacement

Service Life: For replaceable models, an assessment for replacement is required upon reaching a 25-year service life; for non-replaceable models, assessment aligns with the building's design service life.
Appearance and Performance: Replacement is required if there are visible cracks, deformation, or extensive corrosion; if fasteners are extensively loose and cannot be tightened; or if professional testing shows seismic performance falls below design standards.

 

Guardrail Brackets
Appearance Damage: Replacement is required if corrosion depth exceeds one-third of the bracket wall thickness, or if there is visible bending, fracturing, or breakage/gaps.
Structure and Function: Replacement is required if the bracket remains noticeably loose after tightening, tilts due to foundation settlement or displacement, or if protective performance is significantly compromised following an impact.
Rubber Mounting Pads for Submersible Mixers
Appearance Indicators: Surface cracks exceeding 5 mm in length, thickness reduction exceeding 20%, or significant browning/discoloration.
Performance Indicators: Shore hardness increasing by more than 15% from the original value; replacement is required if abnormal vibration occurs during equipment operation or if the bracket shifts out of position.

 

Residential Air Conditioner Brackets
Service Life: Priority inspection is required when the bracket reaches its standard service life of 10–12 years.
Appearance and Safety: Immediate replacement is required if the bracket thickness is less than 2.2 mm, if there is extensive rust or deformation, if expansion bolts are loose and cannot be tightened, or if the bracket shakes noticeably while the air conditioner is running.
